This project explores how a functional calendar can become a piece of visual design rather than just a scheduling tool. The goal was to create a fully functional yearly calendar that balances clarity, usability, and artistic expression—transforming everyday information into an object people would want to display.
The design process focused on information hierarchy, grid systems, typography, spacing, and color relationships to ensure the calendar remained easy to scan while maintaining a bold, contemporary aesthetic. Every element, from date placement and month grouping to whitespace and visual rhythm, was carefully considered to improve readability without sacrificing creativity.
A modular layout and consistent visual system allow the design to scale across both print and digital formats while maintaining a cohesive identity. The result is a calendar that functions as both a practical planning tool and a modern graphic artwork, demonstrating how thoughtful visual design can elevate even the most familiar everyday objects.
